| SA4503 is a potent and selective, small molecule sigma-1 receptor agonist. The sigma-1 receptor plays an important role in the regeneration of the injured central nervous system and its activation by SA4503 stimulates functional recovery. Moreover, SA4503, by virtue of its selective binding to the sigma-1 receptor, displays anti-depressant and cognitive enhancement activities. M's Science has focused its research efforts on this compound and its unique mechanism of action. We rapidly advance the clinical development of SA4503 in stroke and depression and are entering into Phase IIa trials for both indications. |

| HF10 is a live attenuated herpes simplex virus (HSV) with strong anti-cancer activity. HF10 is a newly established HSV strain derived from a spontaneous mutant of the strain HF established by Professor Yukihiro Nishiyama, Nagoya University, School of Medicine. M's Science is collaborating with Prof. Nishiyama to develop HF10 as an effective cancer drug. We are currently developing HF10 for the treatment of head and neck cancer and prepare to start a Phase-I clinical trial in 2007. |
