Board of Directors, Chief Research & Development Officer Wakao Sato Received his Master's degree of Pharmaceutical Science from Tokyo University. Joined Mitsui Pharmaceuticals Inc. (current Nihon Schering K.K.). Served as Head of the London office and as a Clinical Development Team Leader in the headquarters office of Schering AG in Berlin. Later became a Director of the Oncology Group in the Clinical Development Department in the headquarters office of Nihon Schering K.K. in Osaka. Joined M's Science as the Vice President of the Clinical Research Division II in January 2006, joined the Board of Directors in June 2006, and became the Chief Research & Development Officer in June 2007. Board of Directors, Executive Vice President of Business Administration Division Kazunori Yoshikawa Graduated from the Department of Pharmaceutical Science, Tohoku University. Joined Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd at the International Development Department and Business Development Department. Moved to Chugai Pharma Europe in the United Kingdom for clinical development, followed by a career in the departments of International Development Coordination and Regulatory Affairs. Joined M's Science as the Vice President of Clinical Research Division in May 2004, joined the Board of Directors in June 2004, and became the Executive Vice President of Business Administration Division in May 2008. Board of Directors Nobuo Fukuda Received his Master's of Law from Sophia University. After joining Japan Associated Finance Co., Ltd. (current JAFCO Co., Ltd.), served as the Fukuoka Branch Manager, and Managing Director of JAFCO Investment Ltd. in UK., followed by the position of General Manager of Life Science Investment Team (current Life Science Investment Department) at JAFCO Co., Ltd. in April 2003. In February 2004, joined the Board of Directors of M's Science. Standing Auditor Koichi Morioka Graduated from the Department of Economy, Keio University, and joined Kubota Corporation. Served as the Senior Vice President of Kubota Tractor Corporation, President of Kubota Credit Corporation, Chairman of EBRO Kubota S.A., and Standing Auditor of Kubota House Corporation. Assumed the position of Standing Auditor of M's Science in June 2004. Auditor Naoya Saishu Graduated from the Department of Law, Waseda University. Joined Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and served as the President of Chugai USA & Acting CEO of Gen-Probe in the USA, Deputy General Manager of Health Care Division, and Executive Director, Head of Legal Department. Assumed the position of Standing Auditor of M's Science in June 2004. Auditor Shunji Tanefusa Graduated from the Department of Economy, Keio University. Joined Fuji Bank Ltd., served as the Executive Director and Managing Director of Securities Department, Executive Director and Managing Director of Shinbashi Business Department and Branch, President & Chairman of Fujigin Capital Co., Ltd., and President of Fujigin Capital Management Co., Ltd.
