Nov. 2000   Established M's Science Corporation, and licensed rights to SA4503 (Msc1) from Santen Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd.
Apr. 2001   Started joint research program with Nagoya University on cancer treatment using a herpes simplex virus.
Apr. 2001   Received the Research Business Award on New Technology from Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN.
Jul. 2001   Relocated headquarters to Kobe Port Island.
Sep. 2001   Acquired exclusive rights to A-5021 in the areas of cancer gene therapy and anti-virus eye drops from Ajinomoto Co., Inc.
